Established for thirty years, Fuxiang Succulent Plant Park was initially known for selling large quantities of cacti. Following the government's decree to adopt a two-day weekend, the farm adapted and transformed into a rare specialized cactus educational farm in Taiwan. Fuxiang Succulent Plant Park is Taiwan's largest cactus garden, spanning over five hectares and featuring more than 7,000 varieties of cacti, making it the most extensive collection in Taiwan. The park's owner, Mr. Yan Yongxiang, has been an avid enthusiast of cacti for at least 25 years, earning him the reputation as an authority on cacti. Many nearby ecological parks often visit him to seek advice and learn from his expertise. Currently, Fuxiang Plant Park collaborates with the Taichung Science Museum, serving as a branch of the museum's cactus educational garden. This partnership enhances their capabilities in cactus species identification and education. The park consists of several themed areas, including a cactus tropical landscape zone, a water plant natural ecological purification zone, an aquatic plant zone, and a medicinal plant zone. Additionally, there are eight cactus cultivation greenhouses and a large conference room for teaching and presentations. The entire park is meticulously planned.
