新竹縣關西鎮高橋坑6號
In recent years, the town of Guanxi, which is famous for its grass jelly, has helped to revive the declining agricultural industry, finding a new lease on life. Currently, grass jelly is grown in Guanxi and Qionglin townships of Hsinchu County, Tongluo and Sanyi townships of Miaoli County, Xinwu Township of Taoyuan County, and Fenglin Township of Hualien County. Grass jelly is a small, green, and slightly fuzzy native Taiwanese plant with leaves similar to those of mint. It is typically planted from March or April and harvested in September or October. However, Guanxi Township boasts the largest grass jelly cultivation area. With the guidance of the Taoyuan Agricultural Improvement Station on processing techniques, several varieties of grass jelly products have been developed.
