Nan'ao Farm is located at the southernmost end of the Lan-Yang Plain, providing water and electricity, a BBQ area, and clean restroom facilities. The facilities include sinks and water dispensers, truly thoughtful arrangements. The vast grassland area has no sheltering structures, while the surrounding farm lacks light pollution, boasting a mild climate, clear sky, no air pollution, and dazzling starry nights, with countless stars seemingly within arm's reach, making it ideal for astronomical observation. The surrounding forests, streams, and coastal natural resources are rich, suitable for fixed-point ecological tourism, farm experiences, team-building, and family activities. Such diverse ecological environments offer spacious, fee-free premises and comfortable facilities, serving as a beloved travel destination. Nan'ao Farm originally belonged to the Bureau of Government Property Administration under the Ministry of Finance and was operated by the Land Bank. In 1999 (ROC 88), its operation transitioned to Yilan County Government. Currently operated jointly by the Bureau of Government Property Administration and Yilan County Government, it has been planned and opened as a recreational farm to align with the promotion of leisure agriculture and national tourism.
