Located in front of Shuihu Elementary School in Sihu Village, the shrine primarily honors the first immigrant to Taiwan, Enkuang (恩寬) and the deities of his lineage. The shrine also honors Guanyin and the Earth Deity. The Liu Family Ancestral Hall was first built in 1760 during the 25th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, making it 235 years old. The hall sits on a vast area of land, with the Xihu Creek alluvial plain in front and continuous green ridges behind. The imposing structure has an expansive and magnificent presence. The shrine is a three-combined hall with green glazed roof tiles and swallow-tailed ridge ends. Although it does not contain intricate carvings or paintings, its simple elegance reveals the tranquil and harmonious style of the Hakka people.
