On the way to Jiu-Gong-Lake, before reaching the Golden Valley Farm, there is a small right-turning road, which leads to the Pitangwo Aquatic Plant Education Center. Pitangwo, which primarily serves pre-booked guests, used to be a rice field, but was later converted to grow fruit trees. However, due to the advanced age of the owner, Huang Liu-Jin-Kui, and the outflow of population, the irrigation channels and ponds gradually lost their functionality. Not wanting to see the land he loved being wasted, he worked with the community to transform it. The original area of one hectare was utilized to plant aquatic plants using the pond environment. Within the park, plants that attract insects, such as Spermacoce alba and Aristolochia, are cultivated to provide butterflies with easy access to food. Additionally, the Tallow tree is planted to provide a suitable habitat for the Atlas beetle. The entire park is beautiful and clean, and visitors can easily befriend insects here. With surprises around every corner, it has become a favorite treasure-hunting destination for children.
