The "Taichung City Artists' Archives Museum" is located on the second floor of the Port Art Center Exhibition Hall, covering an area of approximately 340 square meters. Established in 1999 and officially opened in 2001, the museum aims to become a cultural base for recording the development of art in the Greater Taichung area by collecting, documenting, and showcasing the works, audio-visual materials, and documents of Taiwanese artists from past to present. Over the past 20 years, the museum has continuously collected and exhibited textual and visual materials related to artists in the Greater Taichung region, helping the public understand the development of art in the area, the lineage of artists, their careers, and their achievements. Starting from 2020, the main space of the museum has been transformed into a children's art education area, with new spaces including: - **Art Golden House**: This section primarily features art-related books. Since 2020, it has incorporated the "Mobile Artists' Archives Museum" project (now renamed the "Art PaPaGO!" project), offering art appreciation courses to cultivate the aesthetic appreciation abilities of visiting students. - **Art Experience Classroom**: This area includes spaces such as the "Group Painting Creation Zone," "Game Installation Zone," "Aesthetic Teaching Wall," and "Art Puzzle Performance Zone," providing facilities for schools, teachers, students, and families to use. - **Picture Book Story House**: This section collects various children's picture books, approximately 200 in total, through donations and purchases of second-hand books, offering reading materials for visiting families or for use in combination with art appreciation courses. Starting from 2022, a new "Resident Artist Exhibition Area" has been added, inviting artists listed by the museum to showcase their selected works and offer art appreciation courses, aiming to attract more local schools and families to visit and participate in classes. **Opening Hours**: Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:30 (Closed on Mondays and national holidays, including Lunar New Year). **Museum Address**: No. 21, Zhongzheng Road, Qingshui District, Taichung City.
