How It All Began This is a dream that originated more than 20 years ago: to create a place offering fresh, handcrafted beer and top-quality, made-to-order dishes. This place is Gordon Biersch, a chain restaurant stretching from the east and west coasts of the United States, across the Pacific to Hawaii and Taiwan (Taipei and Taichung). This dream of great beer and delicious food became reality on July 6, 1988, when the first Gordon Biersch opened in Palo Alto, California. Since the acquisition of Big River Brewing Company in 1999, Gordon Biersch has expanded to 29 locations throughout the United States and Hawaii. In addition, the first Asian branch opened in Taipei's Xinyi District in June 2008, and the Taichung branch opened in June 2009. Gordon Biersch supplies fresh, handcrafted beer and delicious food at all our locations every day, sharing wonderful gathering moments with you. Made-From-Scratch We insist on using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to create our dishes, with seasonal menus, daily selections, and regularly updated fixed menus to satisfy your love for good food, showing our passion for food. Combining American cuisine with international, boundaryless styles, Gordon Biersch offers you more diverse and rich menu choices in your dining experience. Unique Each Gordon Biersch pub has a unique decoration and atmosphere, whether for social gatherings or friends' meals, it can meet your needs. In addition, we offer open spaces, handcrafted American dishes, and fresh craft beer, making your party even more enjoyable! Each store has independent spaces for private parties and can also provide customized party menus. In the United States, most Gordon Biersch locations have small on-site breweries, where brewers craft many award-winning, fresh craft beers and seasonal limited edition beers for local customers. Before the seasonal beer is released, each store holds a new beer launch party (Tapping Party), officially announcing the upcoming seasonal beer and introducing new seasonal menus through this party.
