Sanqinggong Forest Trail is a regional-level trail under the Forestry Bureau, belonging to the Baguashan sub-area of the Central-Taichung mountain regional trail system. It consists of two major loops; this loop connects Sanqinggong to Huanxi Eco-Park and Longfeng Valley Forest Trail. The trail is 2.1 km long and is mainly made of sleeper-wood paths and dirt-and-stone tracks; the section toward Hugang is mostly stairs. A suspension bridge on the branch line is the trail’s signature feature—only wide enough for one person, it offers a true back-country atmosphere. The section toward Baoshan Road is currently closed due to damaged trail surface and partial failure of the slope’s gabion dam; entry is prohibited until repairs are completed. Trail length: 1.93 km. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities: parking (motorcycles, cars, buses), signage, information boards, suspension bridge, rope rail.
