The establishment of the Shuqilin Cultural Center dates back to 2003 when the Council for Cultural Affairs promoted the "Local Cultural Center Plan." To address the issue of underutilization of the "Hsinchu County Agricultural Product Exhibition and Sales Center," the Zhudong Township Office repurposed the old building, transforming it into the Shuqilin Cultural Center. The center features an exhibition hall, performance hall, meeting room, and workshop room. Through various events and activities, the center promotes artistic and cultural exhibitions and in-depth cultural workshops, aiming to enhance the overall cultural and artistic quality of life in the Zhudong area.
