苗栗縣南庄鄉東河村鹿場
Located in Donghe Village, Nanzhuang Township, Miaoli County, the鹿場was originally called "Jiubusi" due to the residence of the indigenous Jiubusi tribe. Later, as the area was found to have an abundance of deer, Han Chinese settlers arriving in Nanzhuang named it鹿場, which translates to "Deer Field". It is a quaint and secluded mountain village. 鹿場is the farthest upstream settlement of the Tayal people on the Zhonggang River, situated on the northeastern slope of Mount Kalipu. The village is surrounded by a series of peaks of the Kalipu mountain range. The lush green landscape conceals the entire area, presenting a breathtaking view of magnificent mountains and natural valleys that gives one the feeling of being in a paradise. Due to geological changes, the residents of鹿場once relocated to Dongjiang New Village above Nanzhuang Nursery. However, most residents returned to鹿場to grow mushrooms and paper mulberry for a living. Given the local transportation inconvenience, the original natural scenery remains intact, with layered cliffs, dense forests, and deep valleys, showcasing a stunning and enchanting natural landscape.
