The center of the Shrine of Heaven is supported by eight dragon pillars, representing the eight dragons holding up the sky. The outer circle is surrounded by twelve hourly pillars, representing continuous operation. The blue-tiled conical roof symbolizes the heavens, exuding a grand momentum. Inside the Imperial Palace, it enshrines Emperor Taizu Zhao Kuangyin of the Song Dynasty, Emperor Taizong Zhao Guangyi, Damo Patriarch, Eight Treasures Mother, Lu Xianzu, Third Prince, and Heavenly Tiger General. The entire scenic area covers 5,000 pings, surrounded by mountains and open vistas, making it a famous religious scenic spot in Jiajian.
