南投縣埔里鎮牛尾路1之12號
From the geographic center monument of Puli Town, Nantou County, one can gaze northwest to see a magnificent Buddhist temple with emerald-tiled roofs and white walls, standing solemnly and serene at the junction of vast farmlands and distant mountains. This renowned temple is the Di Zang Courtyard of Renchen Temple. Entering through the mountain gate, the architecture, built in harmony with the natural contours, and the elegant environment create a feeling of complete purification from worldly cares. Ascending the steps, a large bronze statue of Di Zang Bodhisattva in the main hall of the first floor comes into view. Climbing to the second floor reveals a meticulously carved Di Zang Bodhisattva statue made from Japanese cypress wood, standing majestically in the central hall. The statue radiates a serene, dignified, and fulfilled demeanor. The temple’s Zen forest—Pure and Cool Garden—is lush with flowers, plants, and vibrant greenery, offering a pristine and elegant environment. This forest preserves its original woodland scenery, not only serving as an excellent site for meditation but also as a habitat for numerous wild, federally protected birds. The lifelike Buddhist art sculptures scattered throughout the forest, along with thought-provoking Dharma sayings, provide participants with a profound journey into the ocean of wisdom, cultivating inner purity and inspiring the budding of virtuous roots.
