雲林縣林內鄉(有開復廟、濟公廟等兩處入口)
Ecological One-Dragon is said to have earned its name because, from a high vantage point, the ridgeline looks like a dragon’s spine. The trail has three trailheads and is a friendly, easy route with broad vistas. The ecology is rich: in early April purple crow butterflies flutter overhead, while on ordinary days you may see fairy pittas and Formosan rock macaques darting through the forest. Longguomai Forest Trail lies within Linnei Township, near Linnei Park. It is about 4.2 km long and is one of the hundred trails recommended by the Forestry Bureau. There are three trailheads: Tieguankeng, Bukeng, and Pingding. The Linnei range, together with Caoling and the peaks around Zhushan in Nantou County, forms a stacked skyline. Legend says that when viewed from the Caoling–Zhushan border, the ridgeline within Linnei looks like a dragon’s back; as the gaze shifts to the confluence of the Zhuoshui and Qingshui rivers, it resembles a dragon drinking, hence the name “Dragon Crossing the Pulse.”
