Seven-Seven Heights is a scenic spot offering a 360-degree panoramic view. This area is named after its altitude of 77 meters. Previously, it was a military-controlled zone, and the only access road is a narrow war preparedness path. The sides of the road are overgrown with dense vegetation, making vehicle access inconvenient; visitors should park their cars at the entrance. Following the road for several hundred meters leads to an abandoned artillery阵地, and proceeding tens of meters further will bring you to the northernmost vantage point. There is an abandoned camp shelter here, and its second-floor platform is the best spot for viewing the surroundings. From there, one can overlook the estuary of Hualien Creek, which is also the northernmost point of the Coastal Mountain Range. During summer, visitors should be cautious of insects, mosquitoes, ants, and snakes, or risks of heatstroke. In addition, whether one is passionate about photography or scenic appreciation, Seven-Seven Heights is a destination worth recommending among travel lists for its unique attractions.
