Xingnan Night Market sits right next to the exit of Nanshijiao MRT Station. Centered on Xinyi Street and stretching to Lane 410, Jingxin Street, it forms a T-shaped night-market商圈. Here, delicious oyster vermicelli, braised dishes, tofu pudding, and rice-noodle soup gather in one place; besides eateries and snack stalls, daily necessities and clothing can also be bought in a single stop. Not only a base for local residents to eat and shop, its convenient transport also draws many tourists. Nearby are the popular night-view spot Hongludi in Zhonghe and the Huaxin Street商圈 known as “Myanmar Street”; after praying or enjoying the night view, many visitors drop by Xingnan Night Market to spend more. Since November 2019, the New Taipei City Market Administration Office has piloted a pedestrian zone every Saturday and Sunday evening, with time-based vehicle controls, giving the public a safer environment to stroll the night market.
