The Chi-Shang rural cycling network is formed by the main route combined with three sub-lines (Ring Tzun Sub-line, Heaven's Path Sub-line, and Xinxing Sub-line) and the Borlang Highway. Starting at Chi-Shang Train Station, the route proceeds through Dapo Lake, floating canals, Large Waterwheel, Small Waterwheel, Chi-shang Canal Inflow Ecological Park, Makino Leisure Resort, East Xin Road, Wanchao, Wenshan Road, and returns to Chi-Shang Train Station. A full circuit taking the entire route takes about three hours. The roads were created by following the natural topography and integrating with existing rural paths and expansive fieldscapes, and were constructed with great care according to the local cultural landscape of Chi-Shang Township. The journey features rich attractions such as the national wetland Dapo Lake, floating canals and Dakan Pavilion, Borlang Highway, Heaven's Path, Green Tea Trees, the Rice Homeland Museum, Drifting Birds 197 - Long Valley Land Art Festival, and other scenic spots. Whether traveling the main route or sub-lines, the road surface is quite flat, providing a very comfortable, effortless cycling experience.
