Do not enter the closed section for your safety. ⚠ Wanggu Station is the most tranquil stop on the Pingxi Branch Line. Once thriving because of coal mining, the area still bears witness to that era: Qinghe Suspension Bridge beside the station is a remnant of the bustling coal industry. To reach “Wanggu Waterfall,” follow the farm road along the railway, climb the wooden steps, and join the mid-slope trail down to the valley below. Here, distinctive horizontal rock strata and varying hardness create a curtain-style cascade that plunges from the cliff top, forming a clear pool at its base. The water gleams with an emerald hue—nature’s own cosmetic for Instagrammers. Listening to the gentle, steady flow feels like stepping into a hidden paradise.
