Chiaoguang Gallery was established in 1984 and is a senior member of the Taiwan Art Gallery Association. The director has served as a councilor and executive councilor for multiple terms, actively promoting Taiwan's art industry and improving the market environment. In the 1990s, the gallery began to represent excellent mid-to-young artists from mainland China and Taiwan. In 2006, it started to focus on contemporary art from Taiwan and Asia. In 2007, it joined forces with other galleries to form the "Taiwan Contemporary Art Network," aiming to strengthen the promotion of Taiwanese contemporary artists. In 2009, the gallery founded the "Young Art Taipei" international contemporary art fair, and in 2019, it co-founded "One Art Taipei." Currently, Chiaoguang Gallery operates in two main directions: representing classic masterpieces by artists such as Zhu Der-Chiun, Yayoi Kusama, Ding Yuxing, Takashi Murakami, and others; and nurturing young and talented Asian contemporary artists.
