宜蘭縣壯圍鄉廍後路2號(濱海自行車道南端出入口)
In the Donggang Village of Zhuangwei Township, there is a Banyan Tree Park at the mouth of the harbor where you can relax and unwind. You can rest and relax on the hammock hung between the old trees, or walk along the shaded avenue with the interplay of light and shadow cast by the branches and vines, enjoying a quiet moment. Donggang Banyan Tree Park is located at the southern exit of the Coastal Bike Trail. It is one of the resting spots along the bike trail. It is named after the natural wonder of dense branches intertwined to form a shaded area. It has become a relay point for cyclists and tourists to cool off and enjoy the scenery in summer. The most special "Fishing Net Hammock" here is made by local old fishermen and community residents weaving fishing nets. You must try to relax on the hammock when you come to the park. The Mazu Temple under the trees is also a place for local residents to rest and chat. When you walk out of the Banyan Tree Park, you can see the old simple wharf. Nowadays, fishing boats still dock here. Although there is no longer the thriving fishing scene of the past, it still retains a strong fishing village flavor and rustic charm. The coastal recreation area, Banyan Tree Park, and the nearby Lan Yang River Estuary Bird Watching Area are all recommended attractions in Yongzhen. You can ride a bike along the coastal highway to roam around, which is the most fun and leisurely way. You can also admire the traditional Shucuo Community where the park is located, which still retains the old house style of early Taiwan, with a strong nostalgic flavor.
