In order to promote high-quality products from Taitung’s rural areas and community villages, a group of locals who love their hometown culture in Taitung came together at the behest of the Yong'an Community in Lukyang Township to establish the “Taitung 2626 Market” at the Wuling Green Tunnel. Whether you want to set up a stall or simply come to browse and find bargains, this market meets everyone’s needs. Taitung is Taiwan’s last pristine land, offering the cleanest environment and the kindest people. On this land, the best and highest-quality agricultural specialty products are produced, and artisans create a variety of ingenious handmade crafts. However, even though there are great products, they often cannot find consumers, and many consumers cannot find products that combine quality and reasonable price. In view of this, the Yong'an Community specifically called on the Taitung community and its residents to promote the “Taitung 2626 Market.” The event takes place every month on the second Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Wuling Green Tunnel, as a regular rural holiday market.
