The Lion Mountain Visitor Center is located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. It was originally an abandoned school building of Lion Mountain Elementary School. After renovation, it not only serves as a comfortable resting place and travel guide for tourists but also integrates with the local culture of Lion Head Mountain, showcasing a rich Hakka flavor within the park. The Lion Mountain Visitor Center is surrounded by many important attractions in the Lion Head Mountain Scenic Area, such as the Lion Mountain Ancient Trail, Water Curtain Bridge Trail, and Tengping Trail. The services provided inside are also quite comprehensive. In addition to displaying various themed travel destination boards, allowing tourists to easily understand the rich tourism resources in the Lion Mountain area, the Lion Mountain Classroom within the visitor center also introduces guided maps of the surrounding trails. This enables tourists to choose a suitable route for their hike based on their physical strength and mood. Furthermore, it offers travel brochures, mobile phone charging, simple medical supplies, wireless network, and other convenient services, making hiking trips more comfortable and worry-free. The Tung Flower Festival from April to May is the best time to visit the Lion Mountain Visitor Center! When the tung flowers bloom one by one beside the visitor center, it looks as though the ground is covered with a white carpet, creating a beautiful scene. Paired with the outdoor plaza's waterwheel landscape and the unique heart-shaped wall, the visitor center itself becomes a very worthwhile and picturesque spot to visit!
