Jing Ming Street, known as the number one street in Taichung, stands as a legend of the urban renewal movement and a must-visit destination for foreign travelers. The popularity of the entire Jing Ming Street is concentrated almost entirely at Chun Shui Tang's Dadun Branch. The seating area shaded by red umbrellas is filled with people savoring leisurely afternoons; contentment etched on their faces and relaxation in their smiles. Simply order a boba milk tea or emerald lemon tea and spend an afternoon here.
The Dadun Branch opened in 1987 and underwent renovation in 2008. The newly designed space showcases contemporary East Asian aesthetics—elegant and serene. Ming-style solid wood furniture in natural tones, gray brick walls, unique lanterns, calligraphy paintings, pottery, and more blend harmoniously. It also houses the Autumn Mountain Hall Fine Tea Shop. The corner entrance features a flower arrangement scenery with an ancient charm, offering delightful surprises at every turn.
Outside the Dadun Branch, the setting exudes European romanticism, while indoors, it presents a traditional Chinese elegance. Wooden furniture, brick walls, lanterns with calligraphy art, and Jiaozhu pottery create an atmosphere of vintage charm. The entrance with flower art installations surprises visitors continuously.
