高雄市旗山區文中路7號
The Life and Cultural Park, which was redeveloped from school buildings, is listed as a heritage site alongside the neighboring Qishan Elementary School across one street. Within the park, the heritage-registered school buildings include the large auditorium and staff office as well as classrooms, dating back to 1920, during the Japanese colonial period under the Taishō Nine era. The front of the auditorium is marked by an elegant trio of arches, its roof apex features wooden-crossed gable, and the entrance arcade has three-arched openings, creating a simple yet elegant architectural structure. The park includes publicly accessible spaces such as a Tourist Information Center, a Classroom Café, the Banana Story Museum, and the Banana Culture Museum, in addition being equipped with a Classmates’ Hall available for group bookings. The park also offers regular art and cultural exhibitions, sales of creative products, and DIY experience activities, allowing visitors to enjoy artistic-themed bike rentals and bicycle rentals within the historic settings. The tranquil environment makes it an ideal setting for leisurely strolls and quiet relaxation.
