SALUSABA Thai Cuisine is located in a lane on Wu Feng South Road, Chiayi City, and features a modern and stylish Thai restaurant. The Thai name "SALUSABA" means "comfortable" and appeals to customers who have been to Thailand and miss Thai cuisine. The owner is not a newcomer to the food and beverage industry, having already owned a chicken restaurant in Chiayi. When considering expanding his business line and creating a new brand, a friend suggested: "You love Thailand so much, why not open a Thai restaurant?" This sparked an idea, and he recalled that over the past decade, he had visited Thailand almost every half year, attending local cooking classes, visiting markets with teachers, and learning about the characteristics of ingredients and how to precisely combine spices in dishes. This passion for Thai cuisine is what drives him to share it with others.
The best-selling dish is the "Som Tam Khao Seafood MAMA Noodles", which is inspired by the flavors of Jeh O Chula's mama noodles in Thailand. The broth is made with a complex process, perfectly balancing the four flavors of sour, spicy, salty, and sweet. The owner personally recommends the "Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice", which uses sweet and fragrant pineapples from Minxiong, Chiayi, and adds nuts and meat floss to increase the layers of flavor. While introducing Thai flavors, it also supports local agricultural products in Chiayi.
