St. Paul is the originator of Chiayi’s famous Q-Cake. Using premium local ingredients, each cake is filled with Alishan black-hair pork jerky from Chiayi, Beigang red-clay salted egg yolk from Yunlin, and red-bean paste from Wandan, Pingtung. A soft, chewy mochi made from Xiluo rice is wrapped in golden flaky pastry, creating a double-layered, springy texture that balances sweet and savory in a uniquely rich flavor.
The packaging features Chiayi icons—KANO, the Central Fountain, Chiayi Railway Station, and the Sun-Shooting Tower—so one gift box captures the taste of the city.
