The Church of Saint Therese of Lisieux is a major pilgrimage site for the Catholic Diocese of Hsinchu, also known as Xincheng Catholic Church. Saint Therese is a Spanish Catholic saint, widely revered by Catholics around the world, and there are Catholic churches named after her all over the world. Looking up, the large statue of Saint Therese outside the church reveals the church's compassionate and salvational sentiments! Going up to the second floor of the church, the windows are all stained glass, and in the afternoon, the sunlight shines through the windows, and all the glass panes radiate different golden lights. Walking on the small path outside the church, you can see the solemn and merciful statue of the Virgin Mary. Walking closer, you see Jesus, who suffered for humanity, nailed to the cross, standing between heaven and earth. Along the path, the stone slabs depict 15 stations of the Passion, still vividly visible.
