Healthy, Non-Toxic Hinoki Tableware
The predecessor of Aimu Village was a hinoki sawmill that has been rooted in Chiayi for more than 50 years. It specializes in Taiwan domestic timber, handling everything from sawing to processing, and supplies furniture, wood-craft lifestyle goods, construction materials, and timber for historic-site restoration. Chiayi is the capital of wood, and its “healthy, non-toxic hinoki tableware” is made from Taiwan domestic timber using a health-safe, no-paint technique that keeps the entire process free of pollution and waste. Hinoki-wood-chip sachets release forest phytoncides and banish odors; hinoki chopsticks are finished without artificial lacquer—simply wash and dry or air-dry after use, returning utensils to their original, clean, uncontaminated state. A hinoki rice paddle adds a subtle, elegant aroma that enhances the fragrance of steaming rice. Product price NT$420 (product images are for reference only; actual items and prices prevail).
