The Wenshan tea region is nestled among surrounding mountains, benefiting from its unique geographical coordinates. It experiences four distinct seasons with a moist, cool climate year-round, ample rainfall, and fertile soil, making it ideally suited for tea cultivation. Currently, the total tea plantation area exceeds 1390 hectares, cultivating high-quality varieties such as Qingxin Oolong. Baozhong tea produced here is of exceptional quality, with an annual production of approximately 1.1 million kilograms, earning its reputation as a precious gem among teas.
Prestigious Wenshan Baozhong tea is made from tender tea leaves, with tightly twisted, strip-shaped leaves that feature naturally curled tips and connected young twigs. The leaves present a vivid, jet-black green color, while the tea liquor is honey-green with a golden yellow hue, clear and bright. The flavor is rich, intense, and fragrant, with a sweet and smooth aftertaste that lingers pleasantly in the throat, emphasizing an aromatic quality—higher fragrance indicates superior quality.
