Zhikashuan Forest Park is located in Ji'an Township, Hualien County. Originally named Nangpu Green Forest Park, the park spans approximately 11 hectares. During the Japanese colonial era, it once served as an air force base. Recently, the government has re-planned and renovated the area, planting a variety of saplings and plants, transforming it into a multi-functional recreational park combining leisure and ecological education. Zhikashuan Park primarily features a fairy-tale styled design, divided into eight key areas. These include the central plaza at the main entrance, the wind vane plaza, and the green zone containing the native plant area, aquatic plant area, and Dragon Spine Greenhouse. Followed by the fun dragonfly sculptures, the children's play area, and the garden maze. The vast forest area is the perfect recreational spot for families during weekends.
