Thanks to its excellent climate and pristine water quality, Puli is the heart of Nantou’s flower industry. Recently, hot springs were discovered at the start of the Puli–Wushe Highway, making the town a newly emerging spa area within the county and earning it the title of “Land of Flowers and Hot Springs.” Puli is rich in culture; nearby attractions such as Carp Lake—nicknamed “Little West Lake”—Tai-I Ecological Education Farm, Tai-Kuang Vanilla Garden, Kuang-Hsing Paper Mill, Puli Winery, and Long-Nan Lacquer Art Museum are all must-see destinations after a relaxing soak. Two businesses have already received the official hot-spring certification: Sky Spring Resort (No. 37-1, Liyu Rd., Wugong Village, Puli Township, Nantou County) and Yangzhigu B&B (No. 151, Sec. 1, Zhongshan Rd., Wugong Village, Puli Township).
