Taichung Zhongshan Hall stands beside the historic Zhongzheng Park. Officially opened on April 1, 1989 (Republic of China year 78), it covers a site area of 33,564.94 m² and a floor area of 16,607.5 m². Its graceful curved façade forms a quarter-circle, and the building comprises two underground levels and three above-ground floors. Inside, a soaring, spacious lobby welcomes visitors, and the two-tiered auditorium seats 1,581 patrons. The stage, lighting, and rigging systems meet international standards, making Zhongshan Hall one of central Taiwan’s most fully equipped performance venues and the preferred choice for renowned domestic and foreign troupes performing in the region.
