Yinbo Pudding originated in 1939, when its founder, Wu Lianchun, learned pudding-making from a Japanese master and served it as a small dessert at his own tea house. Over the past 70 years, it has accompanied Tainan citizens and holds a special place in the hearts of many as a nostalgic treat. It can be considered the first dedicated pudding shop in Tainan. Yinbo Pudding has a smooth and creamy texture, with a hand-baked pudding pore structure that absorbs a rich, slightly bitter, and sweet caramel flavor, blending it with a rich egg aroma to create a uniquely memorable taste. This traditional flavor is presented in its most original form.
