花蓮縣壽豐鄉牛山39-5號
Shuilian is located on the coastal region of Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, surrounded by green hills and a vast river valley basin. Shuilian Creek winds through the area, creating a community where multiple ethnic groups have converged. The region possesses abundant natural resources, unique geological landscapes, precious ecological systems of flora and fauna, as well as indigenous cultural heritage. The Niushan area situated in the southern beaches of Shuilian is called "Hudin" by the Ami Tribe, meaning a large grassland pasture. Niushan features an exquisite topography, especially the "creeping terraces" on its southern coast, formerly used as buffalo grazing land. In spring, hundreds of blooming Taiwan lilies carpet the hillsides, making this area the original habitat of wild lilies. The rich plant community of Niushan has become a microcosm of the eastern coastal plant species, and it has been designated as a natural ecological reserve. From Shuilian to Niushan, the most captivating feature lies in the several-kilometer-long shoreline. In spring and summer, the beaches offer soft, smooth sands where a barefoot walk allows cooling ocean breezes to blow gently, creating the sensation of a "paradise at the ocean's edge"—relaxing and carefree. In autumn and winter, the beach becomes filled with colorful pebbles rolling with the waves, creating a breathtaking beauty.
