Taipei Municipal Shenggong High School "Butterfly Palace Insect Science Museum" was opened on January 1, 1971, after years of preparation. In 2009, the new building was completed and newly established, and was renamed "Butterfly Palace Insect Science Museum".
Features of the Museum:
1. As a permanent exhibition facility centered on insects, the museum has the largest exhibition area, the most specimens, and the widest variety and quantity of related cultural relics in the world.
2. In addition to having extremely rich collections of rare and precious specimens, there are also priceless treasures that cannot be purchased, such as new species, unrecorded species, male and female butterflies, abnormal butterflies, and interspecific hybrids, etc.

1. Traditional Museum Studies "Insect Museum": The museum has more than 32,000 insect specimens, with approximately 5,000 species of specimens.
