"Lily Studio" is located in Fengbin Township, Hualien County. The studio owner, Pan Xiu-ying, has been devoted to leather embossing for over 20 years, driven by her passion for the craft. "Lily" is Pan's name in her native language, which sounds similar to the English word for "Lily flower," hence the name of the studio. The studio's leather embossing works include keychains, bracelets, long and short wallets, coin purses, and bags of various sizes. The works showcase diverse styles, with patterns on the leather accessories often combining local Amis and Kavalan tribal motifs and imagery from the east coast, extended and transformed. In recent years, Pan's son has contributed his creativity and knowledge of cultural research, designing many innovative patterns for his mother to use as creative material, making the leather embossing works more lively and creative. Currently, Lily Studio's works can be found in local guesthouses in Fengbin, such as Shi Ti Yuan, Huan Man, and Xi Bu Lan Visitor Center (New Pacific 1st Shop), as well as Hou Shan Story Museum. The studio also offers leather embossing DIY experiences, and interested friends are welcome to join!
