Warm in winter and cool in summer, on the western side of the Central Mountain Range, 1,200–2,600 m above sea level, the air is dry and pleasant amid emerald mountains and clear waters. Each late autumn, Aowanda dons a crimson cloak, creating enchanting scenery. From February to September is ideal for escaping the heat—enjoy forest bathing and flower viewing; fireflies appear in May. Every season offers its own flavor. No food is available in the park; please bring your own.
