Introduction (Bai Shi Hu - Origin of the Name)
Bai Shi Hu is a naturally formed valley surrounded by mountains, abundant with white sandstone, hence the name "Bai Shi Hu", which is not actually a lake. The Bai Shi Hu Leisure Agriculture Area is the first leisure agriculture area in Taipei City approved by the Council of Agriculture, located in the Bai Shi Hu basin in Neihu District, Taipei City. The entrance to the leisure agriculture area starts from the Bai Shi Hu suspension bridge.
New attractions in the area ~ Bai Shi Hu suspension bridge was designed by a Japanese designer, with a purple dragon bone shape, attracting numerous tourists to visit. The Tong Xin Chi is a wetland ecological area provided by the landlord free of charge. Every May, the pure white iris flowers bloom, and from May to September, the peony lotus also blooms, attracting many tourists.
Suggested Itinerary
The Bai Shi Hu Leisure Agriculture Area consists of 24 farms and restaurants, with strawberries being the main crop. From December to May is the strawberry season, and fruit-picking experiences are available.
