The Dajia Creek Sea Leisure Agricultural Park was previously known as the Dajia Creek Sea Flower Park, which regularly hosts the Flower Festival (November-December) and the Colorful Sea Hibiscus Season (March-April). The park focuses on flower and grass planting, and its convenient transportation makes it an ideal location for developing an international leisure agriculture district. The Dajia Creek Sea Leisure Agricultural Park boasts rich agricultural production features, pond ecological landscapes, and rural cultural resources. It is currently the most densely populated leisure agricultural park in Taiwan, and it is also known as the "gateway to Taiwan". Under the initiative of the Taoyuan City Government Agriculture Bureau, Dajia District Office, Dajia District Farmers' Association, and the planning team, the local farmers and residents have formed the "Dajia Creek Sea Leisure Agricultural Development Association" after reaching a consensus. The association has defined the planning scope of the Dajia Creek Sea Leisure Agricultural Park and gathered community members, including young farmers, returnees, and agricultural experts, to discuss and plan the future development of the park. With the theme of "strolling through the countryside and enjoying the sea of flowers", the park has developed a "four-life" development strategy, which determines the application and experience activities of various resources in the park. Based on the distribution of resources in the park, three development themes have been defined: Creative Floral Banquet, Ecological Education, and Agricultural Experience Education. These themes aim to develop rural tourism, encourage creative ideas, and construct public facilities and scenic beauty projects. The primary target market for the initial development of the park is tourists from northern and central Taiwan, who can enjoy a day trip with their families, couples, or as senior citizens. The secondary target market is tourists from southern Taiwan who can enjoy a two-day trip. The park hopes that every visitor can experience the joy and beauty of the flowers and agricultural products, and understand the local agriculture and its sustainable development.
