Walk along the trail dubbed "Mini Great Wall" to the Viewing Sea Pavilion, where white waves crash against coralline reefs in a crescent-shaped bay. Or gaze at the Sleeping Beauty Rock and Haba Dog Rock. Composed of emerald green hills, sandy beaches, bays, and azure seas, this beautiful scenery is hard to tear one’s eyes away from. One keeps marveling at Mother Nature's ingenuity and cherishing the pleasant memories.
Mini Great Wall Trail Length: 400 meters
Walking Time: round trip about 20 minutes
Built on the slope to the north of Haisan Ping, the Mini Great Wall Trail winds upward along the hillside with winding stone path. From a distance, it resembles a mini version of the Great Wall. Walking along this trail, surrounded by beautiful scenery in all directions, brings feelings of joy and serenity. To the south of Haisan Ping, there stands a solitary coastal pillar in the cliffside at the seaside. From afar, it appears like Confucius facing the wall for self-reflection, hence named "Confucius Rock."
