2019-08-30
台北市內湖區碧溪產業道路上,屬於「內雙溪森林自然公園」園區
Dalongtou Mountain and Dalongwei Mountain are located on the main ridge of the Wuzhi Mountain range, extending from northeast to southwest. Dalongwei Mountain has an altitude of 451 meters, with large rocks forming peaks. Dalongtou Mountain has an altitude of 475 meters, making it the highest mountain in the Neihu area. The flat summit provides a wide view, offering a magnificent scenery when looking afar. The two mountains are arranged side by side, exuding a powerful atmosphere, and have become an important landmark for the Shilin Central Community. Dalongtou and Dalongwei Mountain's Nature Trail Dalongwei Mountain, due to the fault passing through, has a steeper terrain and is less developed because of the protection of the water source area, preserving its natural ecological plant life intact. Entering from the mountain entrance of the Central Community, you are welcomed by a wide and flat gravel path, complemented by tall trees on the sides, creating a cool and comfortable atmosphere as you walk along. There is an observation platform on the summit, offering a panoramic view of the Yanshui Creek and the Yangming Mountain area. As the trail proceeds towards Dalongtou Mountain, there is Dalong Lake located at the mid-slope, with its emerald green waters reflecting the mountain scenery. On both sides of the Bishan Road leading to Dalongtou Mountain, autumn grasses sway in the wind, creating a cool and pleasant atmosphere. On the north side of the mountain area, there is a natural trail connecting with the Wanxi Industrial Road. The trail is hidden among the woods, with the lush forest of the Neishuangxi Forest Nature Park accompanying you all the way. Being within the mountains The path leading to the forest is a wide and comfortable wooden boardwalk. It is elevated above the tree layer, not only avoiding damage to the rocks and plants on the ground, but also allowing visitors to observe the natural environment conveniently. Interpretation signs appear at regular intervals along the trail, guiding us to understand the surrounding geological and ecological environment better. Sometimes, trees seem to "pop out" from the trail, but they have always been there. We use the land, so the boardwalk is built around them. This way, the original natural scenery of the forest is preserved, and we also have a convenient and comfortable trail. It is indeed a win-win situation. Sharing nature, everyone is happy. The "native" residents of the forest can still live comfortably, with the sound of insects and birds constantly echoing, and squirrels often jumping around in the trees. Although the entire trail is uphill, the rich biodiversity makes people naturally slow down, either to stop and admire the view or to check the interpretation signs. Therefore, walking the entire trail feels light and pleasant, without getting out of breath. If you still want to rest during the journey, you can often take a turn, and there are wooden platforms along the road, which can be used for sightseeing and rest. It is rare to have a one-kilometer-long natural wooden boardwalk near the city, and experienced hikers usually choose to walk barefoot to experience the relaxing and pleasant forest journey. Rich forest scenery has its reasons Going from the entrance of the nature trail to Dalongwei Mountain, you are welcomed by a wide and flat gravel path. On the side of the path, tall trees are swaying in the wind, their leaves making a rustling sound, which harmonizes with the sound of footsteps on the gravel, indicating that the beautiful experience of walking in the forest will continue. Even though most of the other sections of the trail are made of stone steps, the dense forest has always accompanied you. Entering this natural ecological green corridor, the forest scenery is mature and rich. Because the forest trail passes through the hidden and almost undeveloped western foothills of Dalongtou Mountain, although Dalongwei Mountain does not have a primary forest, the steep terrain and its location in the water source area make it less developed and have fewer human disturbances, thus preserving its natural ecological environment relatively well. On the windward side between Dalongtou Mountain and Dalongwei Mountain, the trees are significantly shorter due to the constant strong winds, forming a "wind-attacked dwarf forest" composed of plants such as Machilus thunbergii, Stewartia monadelpha, Camellia reticulata, and Rhaphiolepis indica. The cold and cool effect caused by the northeast monsoon allows plants that originally grow in the mid-altitude ecological environment, which is similar to 2,000 meters, to survive in this environment with an altitude of over 400 meters, forming a unique phenomenon of plant species descending northward. For example, the deciduous plants such as Rhus chinensis and Tripterygium wilfordii, which originally grow in the temperate zone, also thrive here. The summit area has a warm-temperate broad-leaved forest, while the warmer stream valleys have plants commonly found in tropical regions, such as buttress roots and cauliflorous flowers. Along with the original subtropical broad-leaved forest ecosystem, it is like a condensed ecosystem that combines tropical, subtropical, and warm-temperate regions, nurturing a unique and rich compressed ecosystem. Enjoy the beautiful scenery from a high place Dalongtou Mountain is the highest mountain in the Neihu area, and the view from the top is definitely great. The summit platform provides a wide view, with viewpoints on both sides of the square. On the left side, there are Dalongwei Mountain and Lion Head Mountain in the near distance, while on the right side, the small hills are Round Mountain. Looking afar at Dalongwei Mountain from here, its grandeur is especially impressive, not seeming like a small mountain with an altitude of just over 400 meters. Looking north, the mountain range of the Datong Mountain system, the barrier to the north of Taipei, as well as the volcanic shape of the Hat Mountain are clearly visible. On the opposite side of the valley is the Pingdengli area, which is a plateau formed by lava flows during a volcanic eruption. Going to the other end, the five-finger mountain and the lakes and parks of Neihu are reflected in the water, with the mountains stretching endlessly from Xizhi to Pingxi, Shitan, and Jilong beyond the Keelung River. Near the summit of Dalongwei Mountain, there are many rest pavilions and observation points. The summit platform is very spacious, with a simple observation platform allowing a panoramic view of the Yanshui Creek and the Yangming Mountain National Park area. Walking down along the small steps to the platform near the nearby shed, you will have a different experience. Close to the summit, there is a large observation deck on the side of the trail, offering a 360-degree panoramic view, with the undulating Wuzhi Mountain range and the mountain peaks in the direction of Xizhi surrounding you. It is like being on a ship, feeling the wind and commanding the view.
