The Sun Moon Lake特色遊學中心 (Sun Moon Lake Characteristic Study Center) is located within the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, and it was originally known as Guangming Elementary School. After the school was closed and merged in 2008, the management bureau actively sought to revitalize the school's land and transform it into the Sun Moon Lake Characteristic Study Center. In 2023, the Center was taken over by the Po-Nia Bay Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to arts and cultural education. The Center aims to introduce local educational institutions and performance groups from Nantou, offering various life and music experience camps. The goal is to bring music, nature, and culture back to simplicity and integrate them into people's daily lives within this serene natural environment.
