Looking out from a high vantage point, the Gangshan Eye Park is located at Xiaogang Mountain on the border of Gangshan and Yanchao Districts, covering approximately 1.8 hectares. In the Qing Dynasty, poet Zhuo Mengcai described the lush, layered greenery and misty verdant atmosphere of the area in his poem "Bamboo Green of Gangshan." Standing at the Gangshan Eye, one enjoys a vast view, reviving the poetic elegance and timeless charm of the region. Sky Corridor: A Walk Among the Clouds The Gangshan Eye Park features a Sky Corridor as its centerpiece, spanning 88 meters in total length. Designed with a musical concept, it is a steel truss cable-stayed bridge where the main tower bridges form a cello image, the steel cables represent strings, symbolizing harmonious melodies. A spiral staircase at the end resembles a harmonica, and step surfaces simulate keynotes that harmonize with each other. As one walks under a gentle breeze along the Sky Corridor, a natural symphony is played, offering a visual and auditory feast reminiscent of walking on clouds. It symbolizes the renewed life symphony of Xiaogang Mountain. Leisure and Tourism, Bird's Eye View of Greater Kaohsiung The park's planning centers around environmental respect and ecological conservation. The Sky Corridor offers a panoramic view of A-Gong-Tien Reservoir, A-Gong-Tien Forest Park, A-Gong-Tien Creek, and the surrounding plains. On clear days, you can admire the majestic Nandayuan Mountains and neighboring mountain ranges, along with Kaohsiung's landmarks such as the 85 Building, Banping Hill, Shoushan Mountain, and the Taiwan Strait.
