Taking Pehzuo Liao Pu Tian Gong Temple as the center, artists are invited to create art for this small fishing village, humorously reinterpreting Eastern Chinese mythology and echoing the legendary colors of local temples. For example, the most well-known temple in Sihu, the Haiqing Temple, also known as the Temple of Lord Bao, features famous mythological figures such as Bao Qingtian, Pangu, the Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden, Nezha battling the Dragon King of the East China Sea, Journey to the West, and Chang'e flying to the moon. These well-known mythological figures are used as themes for the murals. The total length of the murals exceeds 1 kilometer. Through these interesting creations, Pehzuo Liao has more vitality. In 2018, in order to make Pehzuo Liao more distinctive, in addition to the concept of creating artistic works, local special product elements that can highlight local characteristics, such as seafood and fishing village life, were added. The "Oh Bear Team Leader," a mascot of the Tourism Bureau, was also used as a theme for creation. With 4D stereoscopic sculptures and Taiwan's unique "double-sided paintings," the "Oh Bear Art Village" was built, making the art village more lively and interesting, attracting domestic and foreign tourists to take photos and making it a popular check-in spot.
