Zhongli Luminous Cinema is located in the Matsu New Village Nostalgic Cultural and Creative Industrial Park. The entire building originally served as a residents' activity center for Matsu New Village and was renovated over a period of two years to become a two-floor cinematic venue. The first floor of the venue includes a service counter and static movie and art exhibits, while the second floor houses a cinema theater with capacity for 75 viewers and a standard Dolby audio system. The Zhongli Luminous Cinema officially commenced operations in 2015 and plans different themed film exhibitions every month along with a series of film screenings, offering free public access for viewing. Zhongli Luminous Cinema is not only a key attraction of the Matsu New Village Nostalgic Cultural and Creative Industrial Park but also an important development base for the film and television industry in Taoyuan.
