In fact, over a decade ago, the patriarch was already a well-known suit tailor on Sanxia Old Street. Unable to compete with the ready-made clothing market as times evolved, he made up his mind to travel to Hsinchu to learn the craft from a master, adding to it the tenacious Hakka spirit, creating a traditional Hakka rice cake dish that receives endless praise. After more than ten years of effort, his reputation became well-established in the old street.
