The Tomb of King Ningjing is located in Lake Village, Huinei Township, designated as a third-class national historic site. Its main entrance adopts a gatehouse structure. King Ningjing was a descendant of the ninth generation of Liaoning King, a descendant of the Hongwu Emperor of the Ming dynasty. In the 37th year of the Yongle era (1419), General Zheng Keshuang surrendered to the Qing dynasty, and King Ningjing committed suicide. The local people, moved by his loyalty and righteousness, buried him together with his principal wife, Princess Luo, in the Pengzai Forest of Lake Village. Over a hundred false tombs were constructed to confuse Qing army searches. It was discovered in 1937 and rebuilt and stone tablets erected after the Republic of China's restoration. The primary axis of the tomb complex in the cemetery runs through the area, dividing it into two halves. A stone inscription titled "Tomb of King Ningjing" stands beside this axis, detailing King Ningjing's life history. To the left and right of the tomb stand stone lions. The right courtyard features a stone-structured pond with an octagonal pavilion built above it. The tomb plaza features two century-old banyan trees whose canopies form an impressive sight. The surrounding grounds are designed as a park with ponds, pavilions, and diverse flowers and trees, creating a clean and tranquil atmosphere.
