【Reopened after renovation!】The actual opening hours can be found on the Taiwan Mountain Forest Recreation website. The view here is broad and expansive, offering a distant view of the beautiful mountains and villages such as Ruifen, Ruili, and Ruifeng. It is also an excellent spot to watch the sunset. From the Yin-Yang Temple ruins, head towards Ruili, and pass through several open areas to enjoy the scenery of Tashan, Xiaotashan, Dazongshan, and Shibi Mountain. The 3.3K mark is the fork of the Fenhui-Ruili Ancient Trail and the Changshan Ancient Trail. Taking the right path on the Changshan Ancient Trail leads to Taihe, but due to damage from the Morakot typhoon, it is currently temporarily closed for repairs. Taking the left path leads to the intersection with the Ruitai Ancient Trail. The trail passes through a cypress forest and a mixed stand of Phyllostachys makinoi and Bashania fangiana, and features a large Sassafras tree. Following the ridge down to the 5K mark, there is a large Phyllostachys makinoi forest. A short steep slope leads to the end point, Ruili. *Some sections have leeches, please be cautious.
