Chih Kuang Zen Temple is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, and is one of the three dojo founded by Master Ru Xue. More than 20 years ago, it was originally a small private Buddhist temple, a place for family members to practice Buddhism. Around 1998-1999, the conditions were ripe, and Master Ru Xue was invited to take charge of the temple's affairs. The current Chih Kuang Zen Temple is a grandly built Buddhist temple, covering a vast area, with lush trees and beautiful scenery.
The old mountain gate of Chih Kuang Zen Temple was originally located in front of the main hall, with a pond in front of the gate. Later, it was rebuilt on the left side of the temple, and the old mountain gate was abandoned. Chih Kuang Zen Temple is connected to Linkou in the south, with the Bamboo Forest Temple for tourists to visit. To the north, it overlooks the Bali Tamsui, with the "Bao Zhi Chan Temple" and "Xi Yun Chan Temple" two ancient temples, and it is adjacent to the "Ling Yun Chan Temple" on Guanyin Mountain, which can be described as a place with exceptional natural beauty and talented people.
