Just like Wufenpu in Taipei or Zhongxing Street in Yonghe, Tianjin Street in Taichung is also lined with garment wholesalers. First-time visitors are often struck by the novelty of piles of clothes stuffed in clear plastic bags strewn across the ground, as if they’ve stepped into Dihua Street during New Year’s shopping. Most of the clothing here is sourced directly by vendors from overseas factories and shipped back to Taiwan. Retail shoppers who drop by may well walk away with some great finds!
