The Shui Zun Temple of Gratitude is located on Provincial Highway 27A, 13K, in the Liugui District. In the third year of the Xianfeng Emperor's reign, a man named Huang Xianren, who originally lived in Haixian, Guangdong, moved to Xīnwēi Village. After observing the local topography, Huang rode a water buffalo to Èr pō and personally used tools to excavate a water圳. With the help of the villagers, he successfully built a water圳 to channel water from the Laonong Stream to this area. The abundant stream water irrigated over 200 hectares of land in the Xīnwēi area, increasing grain production. To express their gratitude for Huang's contribution to the area, the villagers named the water圳 "Xianren Zùn" and built the Shui Zun Temple of Gratitude to commemorate him. A simple worship visit is recommended, which should take about 10 minutes.
